What we treat

Sports injuries

From weekend runners to competitive athletes, we assess the whole movement chain — not just the injured area — to support your return to the sport you enjoy.

Sport places repeated demands on the body, and injuries often involve more than the painful structure itself. Training load, technique, previous injuries and biomechanics all play a part.

Osteopathic assessment looks at how the whole body is moving, so treatment addresses both the injury and the factors that may have contributed to it.

Common presentations

  • Muscle strains and joint sprains
  • Overuse injuries such as tendinopathies
  • Pain that returns whenever training resumes
  • Stiffness or restriction limiting performance

How we approach sports injuries

We begin with a detailed assessment of the injury and how you move, then use hands-on treatment to settle pain and restore mobility.

Rehabilitation exercise is a core part of recovery — we build a progressive plan so you return to your sport with confidence, and reduce the chance of the injury recurring.
